Meldrum bar would be in the Willamette river, just downstream of where the Clackamas river dumps into the Willamette. Bank access is found by going thru Meldrum Park, off of river road. (It is about behind Thomason Ford on McLoughlin)

Meldrum bar is just north of where the Clackamas enters the Willamette. River road turns off Mcloughlin(99e) just north of the bridge over the clackamas. The turn off to Meldrum bar is about 1/4 mile north on river road.

MJ,
You'll be fishing with about 200 steelhead and salmon fishermen at Meldrum Bar. To get there follow the pink line off McLaughlin Boulevard. But, if you really want to sturgeon fish in that area, I'd suggest the other side of the river ... head to West Linn and Mary S. Young park ... then find your way to the point I marked on this map. Good luck! Take a rain coat.

Strugeon, sturgeon ... whatever.
