Re: brandons first steelies
PrimeEvil,
You call two weeks paying your do's? I started fishing steelhead when I was 12 and didn't catch one until I was 15. That first one seamed to take for ever. The difference between me and Brandon is he was working on my skill and years of practice. When I started out fishing steelhead it was totally from scracth, no one showing me, no internet sites to read, just me and my fiberglass trout rod and just a little bit of an idea of how to do it that my dad knew. That's it. Now I take people on trips all the time and they catch steelhead for the first time fishing for them. There is a lot to it, reading the water, knowing the fish, knowing what to use when and were and when to be there using it. So many details that have to become second nature.
Keep at it, you'll get one eventually, learn as much as you can and be persistant. If there was ever a year to catch some steelhead this is it.
