My friend used to have an eagle and he had it in 6 times to fix the LED screen. Each time they charged him $50.00. That's $300.00. And they never did get the LED completely fixed.
He went out and bought a new one.

I have a Lowrance. I had one go bad. The warrantee was long expired, but I called Lowrance and they said they'd either fix it or replace it. I ended up with a new one, a better one, for $25 plus postage. I'd give that a try.

Eagle is Lowrance now. Maybe they will service it. The last time I killed a Lowrance box by dropping it the warranty had expired. What a pleasant surprise when they offered to replace it with a reconditioned unit, 6 months warranty, for $99. That's for a $750 combo GPS-sonar.

(3) years later it still kicks @$$. Lowrance is good stuff, get some today.

Holy cow! You got your moneys worth Invader. Go buy a new one and be hopeful it lasts as long. 14 years on electronics is a long time.

I just got the X15 W/Gps. Little spendy but you update the software online. It has the most power and pixles.

I have a Lowrance LMS350A I like how it works and never had a problem with it until this summer. I took it to paulina lake elev. 6500ft. The screen looked like auto glass that had been shattered. When I came back to sea level it looks a little better. I called Lowrance and they now have flat rates for all repair. 250 for my unit no matter what was wrong. The won't sell you any parts even if they have them in stock. I had great luck with Hummingbird. They upgraded me for a small charge when my unit had a problem. That program might have changed. Side finders work really well and is a good option to check out-Bottomline.
