Thanks Brian for the e-mail,

Hay I here that the tribes want to charge to fish down at Shears Bridge, I have heard this from 3 people here on Ifish, can anyone or does anyone know where to get a permit to fish down there?? someone to call?? the game commission here has'nt called me with any info on this, so I thought I would ask all of US guys on this.
Thanks-------RIVER-RAT.

A lot of places in central Oregon that sell regular licences can sell you a tribal permit. I know in Madras you can get them at Aherns Market (near McDonalds) and Tiger Mart gas station (south end of town)
Yes, the tribes are requiring licences, and charging for parking I believe. No longer is lead the most expensive aspect of a Sherars trip...

Is the Tribal permit, the same thing as the parking permit at Shearers? I usually got one for fishing Billy Chinook, and Simtustus, but since I fish on the east side, below the bridge, I havn't been bothered about a parking permit at Scherers.
