Default blue river

I have never fished this area before and was headin down that way this coming weekend,,,,i was curious if anyone knows if this is good fly water?ive got my 5wt also a 9wt if nesessary...is this good place for cutthroats,,,thanks for any info its much appreciated

planter rainbows - check the ODFW stocking schedule. Why not fish the upper McKEnzie if it is open.

Closed. The Upper Mac is open for catch and release, but good luck up there. That water should be pretty cold. If you want to connect with some fish, try fishing the lower Mac around Armitage. Good fishing for native rainbows and cutts.
