Default Hilsboro area?

I'm moving to Hilsboro soon and don't know the area very well. Any suggestions on local places to bass fish? I would love to find some small ponds that will warm up quicker and aren't too far away. Any little out of the way place or well known areas are welcome. thanks!

Well, you've got Bethany lake on West Union and 185th, and Commonwealth Lake in Beaverton between Ceder Hills Blvd and Murray just off of the 26.

However, I've haven't had much luck at either.

Honestly what most people do is head out to Henry Hagg Lake (which isn't open yet) off of 47 or to the Willamette.

If you've got a boat (or not actually) the Willamette is just over the hill Cornelius Pass Rd. to highway 30 to one of the dirtiest rivers in the US!!!

But it does have a BUNCH of BASS!

I'm in Hillsboro also....Born & raised.

Hagg, Tualatin, Upper and Lower Willamette are all good bets local. If you want to stretch out a bit you can head to Tenmile, Green Peter, Dorina, Devils Lake - and prolly the biggest lbs average of smallies on the Columbia above the Dam.
