Preliminary results of Thursday night's netting was about 325 salmon. They won't know final numbers until Monday, although it won't matter much because they'll test net again Sunday.
There were fewer steelhead than Tuesday, but again, numbers aren't certain.
Most of the chinook were between Longview and below Cathlamet...or at least that was the highest concentration.
One netter didn't get anything all night but told an observer he talked with a couple of guys in a boat (or one each in two boats) who caught a keeper apiece just outside his line.
Very few of the fish were uprivers...

Should be a good fishing weekend down there.
