Default Ifish notice

I am regretful that I have erred in placing a sponsor on ifish that does not conform to my ideals and rules, as ifish grows.
When I brought Fisherman's Shack on board, I knew that many ifshers were pleased with their product and delivery. It is for that reason that I chose to invite them on board.
I check out each sponsor very thoroughly, and make sure that people have wonderful things to say about a sponsor, and have a good track record with Fishermen. Fisherman's Shack fulfilled this requirement in full.
I do this, because it makes me feel pride in what I do, and pride in what Ifish has to offer you.

Please be assured that my removing their sponsorship has nothing to do with the companies reliability, nor with my opinion of their ability to satisfy your needs in tackle and bait. They are a fine, upstanding tackle shop that delivers good value.
Ifish is pioneering the way in regional advertising on the Internet. Internet advertising is very different than print media, and we are struggling at times, to find the best way to go.
We are here, as members and contributors to comment on what goes on, immediately, and publicly.
Public posts and referrals of links often have as much weight, or more, than sponsored links that exist on the top and the bottom of the page.
When I invite a new sponsor on board, I make sure to the best of my ability, that the new sponsors get along well with one another, peacefully, and co exist well with other sponsors.
This is an ideal that doesn't always work out, but it is what I strive for. You know me... I like peace.
I prefer to have just one sponsor with a specialty niche, to own his own place on ifish, spotlighting their talents and thus reducing competition.
I want the best for ifish sponsors.
Some of the ifish sponsors do compete with each other, but do so with respect and integrity, sensitive of the problems that could arise.
It is with much regret that I brought a sponsor onto ifish without thoroughly checking out all competing resources, and thus, must take full responsibility in removing them.
I owe a sincere apology to Fisherman's Shack. My wishes are that you will continue to do business with them, and feel free to visit their store at Fishermans Shack.

Please accept my apology and know that this experience has been unpleasant for me, at best. As I make mistakes, I also learn, however... and I can add that to my "lessons learned" book, at ifish.

I ask you that this issue be discussed privately, by e mail only, if you have any further questions.

Thank you,

Jennie Logsdon Martin
