Metalhead the movie
Only a couple of weeks to go and I can't wait!!! Looks like they've got some absolute pigs on film. FYI online ticket sales are going on right now.

Re: Metalhead the movie
So I went to see the flyfishing film tour tonight in Spokane. If you are on the fence about going I would suggest that you do. It was alot of fun with some great door prizes. They were giving out guided fly trips, new lines, fly rods ect. I won't say much more than that until all of you get to see it in pdx this weekend. Oh and metalhead was EXCELLENT! I wish I could be home fishing right now.

I'm really looking forward to the film tour and got my tickets early this year. Sounds like we have a good number of Ifishers going.

Re: Metalhead the movie
I am so excited I am taking half the day off to fish tomorrow before the show. There is no way I could make it through a full day in the office tomorrow.

Re: Metalhead the movie
Sweet Vids! I went there for the metalheads & the New Zealand parts. And they were awesome! But I found myself holding my breath when the Everglades guys were chugging poppers for those monster snook! Come-on, Trunks, on a flats boat, chasing fish the size small gators.......wow.

Re: Metalhead the movie
My favorite part was watching the wild Alaskan coho chase the wogs. Maybe some day, I'll do that. Wish there was more steelhead in the show, but what you gonna do?
They gave away a lot of stuff too!

Re: Metalhead the movie
Well......
I may get flamed for this but after going to the show for the last 3 years,
this years show was not half the show the last few years where. I don't know if it was me all thou my wife who goes with me every year said the same thing. Still some very good videos thou.
Now a rant
Also it is a small place and it has gotten more and popular I under stand the show is cool, but just remember there are lots of women and a few kids that go every year soooo next year if you plan on going keep your rude comments to your self and who ever you where your constent farting to yourself.

Re: Metalhead the movie
Zug Bug, it was great meeting you at the show. There was a lot of familiar faces in the crowd. For those of you that did not get to see the show, they are having several other viewings in Oregon. Tuesday in Eugene, Wednesday in Bend and then Thursday in The Dalles. Make sure to stop by and chat with Jeff Hickman at the Scierra Club regarding the current forestry activity on the Coast. You might be shocked to hear what is going on. Casting for a Cure as well as the Native Fish Society will have booths as well. If you have young children, make sure to talk to Bill with Casting for a Cure. His story about his young daughter suffering from Rett Syndrome might bring you to tears.
