Default Willamette River oil slick

I was taking my evening walk/run along the water front downtown this evening (friday) and noticed a fair size fuel slick, running just off the wall along the West bank promenade. I tracked it from the Burnside Bridge as far as the Hawthorne bridge. The origin was somewhere farther up-river. Ranging in size from 5 to 15 feet in width. This seemed to me to be a pretty significant spill (leak). It appeared to be gas or diesel.
I did report it to Portland Fire Bureau Haz Mat and also called it into the news desk at channel 2 news. I'm curious if anyone else saw this or heard about it. I'd like to find out who's responsible
Check those sturgeon at the derby tomorrow and look for that beautiful rainbow sheen. :depressed:
