Foster Lake

I know it is low, but has anyone launched recently at Sunnyside? Any major challenges??? Thanx for any input.

I drove to the ramp today. One boat in the lake, A bit narrow to launch but no real problems. Take it slow until past the bridge and heading out into the lake. Stay the right side, until you start seeing stumps. JUst take it slow and should have no problems! Good luck

Foster is at 613 feet in depth on the gauge, it's normal depth. I have a small boat so no problems for me when I launched Saturday. I also saw a few big jet boats launch without a problem.


I fished mostly at the surface or just below. Never saw or felt a fish. I'll fish a bit deeper nest time.

We have been launching a 19' + North River on many occasions over the last month and have had no problems. Fishing has been spotty but we always find a few, with several being pretty nice holdover fish. Fish the arms, cast, and drift bait in the small riffles. As always can be hit or miss, but definitely some nice fish still coming to play
