Default Cabelas rod blanks kits

Have any of you bought one of these? I haven't made my own rod from a blank before, but the kits seem to have everything needed. Agree or not?

Get a hold of BOE at Trask River Tackle to get a rod kit.

Articulate Leech,

I sent you an e-mail. I can get you set up if you like as a "help a new rod builder"

I've built a couple of rods from Cabela's kits. For no more money than I saved, I would rather just buy a completed rod. That way, if you break it, they send you a new rod, not another blank. Everything that you need is in the kit. Very nice if you're in to it.

The Cabela's rod kits are a great value, but I concur with salmurai that their warranty system is quite vague and you have to repeat the work in order to go fishing again with the same rod.
