Ron, I have a really old Traeger, red box shaped and looks like a regular BBQ. Any idea if this would fit?
Thanks!

How do you start your grill now. Do you have to put in the fire gel and light it or do you have a 3 position manual switch?

I light it with a blowtorch. It has a little manual three-position slide switch for smoke, medium, and high settings.

I don't believe it will work with that grill. It must have the auto start feature...

Sorry.

Yes it will. I have the prototype for this grill. I just replaced mine that was 7 years old about 3 months ago. Works perfect.

The 225 units are called that because their settings go from smoke straight to 225 and then up from there in 25 degree increments. They also used to make a 180 that started at smoke, went to 180 and then to 250 and up from there. They have now started to remake the 180's but are a bit different from the originals. I still have some of them left but they are more expensive than the 225 units.
