Default Diamond Lake Lodging?

Was wondering if anyone could recommend places to stay up at/near Diamond Lake. I look at the cabins and I would have to refi my house for a couple of nights stay. It is so far from Salem one day would not be worth the trip. Would like to bring the wife and daughter and she is not a tenter. Any info would be helpful thanks.

The motel is another option. It looks like is is $79 and $99 per night, depending on which days of the year & how many people. There is more info on the resort's website.

Thank All, the motel is a thought. If we go it would only be for a couple of days.

The other option is to stay at Lemolo Lake and drive up to Diamond. Last we paid attention Lemolo Lake was quite a bit cheaper to stay at and there is less hustle and bustle there.

The studios are one step up from the motel (i guess). I think they're $99 but you have a kitchen to cook in. Not sure there is a kitchen in the motel portion. If you can swing it, the cabins are another step up in comfort and proximity to the lake. The studios and the motel are a bit of a walk from the lake.

I agree with the earlier post that the food at the lodge is good. Good luck!

I would definitely go for the motel..price is right..food prices are not too bad at lodge..and can take lots of snacks in a coller...works find for me over couple of days..yes, the cabins are a bit pricey unless you can get a lot of folks to share with you...

Thanks everyone I think I was sticker shocked from their web cite that I didn't even see the other options. It always impresses me how most ifishers share info. Thanks Again. Hope to see some of you on the water this spring. Andy

I don't know how old you are, but we always have my Dad pay- senior discount! That knocked 20 or 30 bucks off our cabin last fall.

Their Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs are excellent!
