Default Grundens - what grade?

I see that Grundens has a few different weights of bibs available. Just curious what weights people are using?

Was pondering the Herkules 16 for out in the boat. Pretty nice that they offer tall sizes too.

For boat pants, I'd recommend the heavy weight Hercules.

I used standard weight bibs and jacket commercial fishing in Alaska. If they work for that you will have no problem with them sitting around on a sport fishing boat. They will be easier to move in. The Herks are stiffer.

I've been wearing one pair of standard grade bibs for about 10 years. They hold up well and are comfortable. The only think I've found that makes them better is a pair of Exotherms underneath.

There is a new grade of Grunden bib. It's called the Harvestor. They are cut a little bigger than the others [easier to move around in] and they are made from a rip stop material. I got tired of replacing mine once a month. The guys on the boat I fish cod on in the Bering Sea are having good luck with them also.
I'm not sure if they make a jacket out of the new material. I don't have a clue where you can get them down here, I get mine at Lummi Marine supply in Dutch Harbor.

How much do a pair of the regular weights set you back?

I have a Pair that are three years old. I use them for construction work (Dirt work). They are just as good as the day I bought them.
