Not impatient - just curious

I may be picking your brain though - once it's up and runing and the dust has settled...

Well, I'm getting impatient!
I'm not quite sure what you mean by that question.
Could you explain?
Thanks
J

Maybe I can help - I believe I read one of Jennie's posts that indated that there will be an image server utility for the new UBB. So that everyone won't have to store their pics elsewhere. Similare to what she has now, but it takes an additional piece of software in order to do it.

Correct me if I'm wrong - I thinkg I read something about PhotoPost.

No new software. Picture uploading will be a piece of cake. Way easier than now. Posting will be about the same, but getting here is much easier.

This is what one Forum I use says: First you have to store the picture on the internet somewhere. Next you click "image" during your post and type in the URL in the box that pops up.

Pictures, in order to be displayed on the internet, must be uploaded to the internet, anywhere... for others to see.

I do have to tell you, however, all ifishers: I will be down longer than 2 hours, when we do the change.

There are some things I cannot import, and have to do by hand.

I'll do it at night, when you are sound asleep, or on the weekend, at least.

Shouldn't be more than four or five hours. But, we'll see!

Fish Hawg. The pictures on your machine are still on your machine. The system now has an Upload utility which puts a copy of those pictures on the Ifish computer. That's the address you use to get the picture into your post. Things won't change noticably from the way they worked before, except it will be a little easier. You'll like it. Wait and see. I promise! There's always a little concern when going to something unknown, but I peaked behind the curtain and it's going to be good!

Please post a notice when you plan on shutting down ifish for the transfer to threads, so some of the members can dust off their rod and actually log some time on the water trying to catch a real fish.

There are some sweetwater fishermen here who havent fished since the salty dogs boated the last tuna around August/Sept.
