Default Lower Necanicum access

Good news for those who like to fish the " Can"
Looks like there will be a large tract of land near Circle Creek that is going to be opened for public access. I'm not sure exactly how much but it's quite a bit and could be available as soon as June of this year.
Thanks go to the OWHF for their involvment in this!
More info on this later

OWHF is Oregon Wildlife Heritage Foundation. The organization and Rod Borobeck have done a lot towards supporting our fisheries. They have contributed a lot of money towards the Wilson/Nestucca Broodstock Programs, funded the lease for access to the take-out at Cloverdale (on the Nestucca), many projects on the Clackamas/Willamette for Springers and a whole lot of other projects Statewide (they can provide a flyer with all their past contributions). If you are not a supporting member I would highly recommend you all become one. They have done a lot for all of us without a lot of publicity. To get more info contact OWHF at (503)255-6059, PO Box 30406 Portland OR 97294
It's money well spent

Dead Drift's right on. Check out the web site, it's needs to be up dated but will give you an idea of what they are all about. They sponcer the Willamette Salmon Quest to be held on April 3. The funds raised by this event will be used to fund additional projects. See Jennie's post at the top of this page.
