Default New guy, new game.

I am looking for some help. Wondering if anyone knows of any good Fly fishing Education videos, that can take me from tying my knots and such to my cast, and different types of cast, possibly different kinds of line. I would also like books with pictures, lots of pictures, I learn by seeing its just my style.

Thank you
Mitch

Try a Google search for "Fly fishing" or "fishing knots". You can also search U tube for videos. There are tons of them on line.

Have fun.

Newbs nailed your question with the U Tube response, there is casting videos by Dusty Wissmath that are helpful and there are many fly tying videos. LL Bean's "Ultimate Fly Fishing" is a pretty good basic book with a little of everything including knots.

This is a classic. Don't let the cartoon style put you off. It's a great primer

I picked up The Curtis Creek Manifesto. It is a spectacular book. I just got it today but teaches a ton. Thank you all.
