Dried (not the gross frozen vegetable kind [img]graemlins/berry.gif[/img] ) lima beans are a good substitute for fava beans. Get those, and you will sleep easier.

BTW, I've never had a "nice Chianti". Get a Willamette Valley Vinyards pino noir, or a Blue Moon Reisling and you'll be much happier. Buy quality Oregon wine, not cheap California wine!

Gee, and I thought I was giving some good information on how she could put you at ease by cooking lima beans, instead of fava beans while she got ready to prepare your liver... ooops... I mean liver for you.... and a better choice of wine for her.... I mean the both of you... to enjoy it with. :grin:
