Default Streaming Radio

Gotta hate having an inside office (no widows, on the inner part of the building), which means you cant get radio reception.

But....

Gotta love being at work with a fast internet connection, and being able to listen to streaming radio over the internet. Had a friend clue me in to a great station out of the bay area, which is almost a carbon copy of KINK FM up here.

www.kfog.com

Sure beats listening to the same CD 400 times in a day.

Kink, great station Cool T.! My favorite, although my pard who is quite a bit younger is always complaining about it puttin` him to sleep. Got an outside window, in the office, but it doesn`t help much. I`ll give your new link a try since I can`t pick up Kink here at work. Thanx,Bob.

Try AccuRadio. It is the hands down winner in my book. Several cool channels for all moods and people. The ability to skip songs and artists you don't care for. Try the TWANG if you are in an old time honky tonk mode.

Here is a link: AccuRadio

I would not recomend it for dial up though.

Gee, really makes me wish my employer hadn't shut down streaming media on our firewalls. I couldn't even get Jennie's cam at the show!

Call me at work, I'll set the phone down in front of one of my speakers.

Isn't streaming radio a bandwidth hog? I'd love to be able to listen to some tunes at my desk, but I don't want the IT guy on my case.

What are you looking for in a radio station? talk? rock? sports? news? old mystery/comedy shows? Christmas songs year round?

If so than give Live365 a look... there are literally hundreds if not thousands of choices...
