Default Ice fishing northeast oregon yet?

Is anyone doing any good through the ice yet for trout? I tried it once last year on Wolf Creek reservoir and had a blast with the kids. Thank you in advance.

We spent a few hours on thief valley reservoir and did manage a few nice trout, but boy was it cold out there when the wind picked up!

Magone Lake out of John Day is producing lots of nice rainbows and brookies. About 10" of ice and 7-8" snow.

I tried thief valley on saturday and didnt have any luck, but that was the first time I fished there. I have been doing well at unity res, and the fish have had decent size. what do you guys use for bait mostly.

What do you guys like to use for bait when ice fishing, have you guys ever tried jigging fake minnows? I have always just used cocktail shrimp.
