Baby overdue- UPDATE-He's here! (pic added 1-3-10)
Sitting here ready to deliver a nice, healthy 10 lb. Christmas ham. Baby is about a week overdue now, and I'm ready for it to be over. This is our last kid, and, as with the other two, we are planning on having a homebirth. We have not had any ultrasounds or other testing, so we know very little about this little one. We are quite anxious to meet him or her!
Would sure appreciate a prayer or two that labor would start soon, and that all would go smoothly. Thanks.

Ugh. Don't remind me.  We've gotten hit the last few years from having to pay capital gains, so my husband keeps telling me that we NEED this tax deduction. My oldest son was born on Dec. 30th, so hopefully we can get this one in under the wire, too. Not to mention, I'm slightly miserable at this point.

Don't think we're going to make the deadline, but as long as baby's healthy, that's what matters.

Thanks to all for the kind thoughts and prayers. Isaac Holt was born at home at 2:57pm. 9 lbs., 14 oz.. 22 1/2 in. long.

melissa, hope everything comes out alright  anyways thats cool that u decided to wait and see boy/girl thats what me n my wife did. when that baby comes it's one of the best feelings in the world. me and my wife pray for your family and your soon to be newborn
