A couple of weeks ago there was your favorite song vote, how about the song you dislike the most. One for me is Slim Shadey

Most of my kids' favorite artists can reliably induce hurlage. I have not troubled myself to learn the names of the songs. <sniff>

Re: song you hate the moast
I consider myself a patriot of the most fervent kind, but the song which gets me to the off switch the quickest is "I'm proud to be an American" By Lee Greenwood. I feel this song is patriotism reduced to crass commercialism in the most artless way possible, by a hack with no singing talent and if he wrote it, no writing talent either.

"Grandma got run over by a reindeer"
It's my goal every year to make it through Christmas without hearing this song. So far, I have yet to make it through a season without hearing that infernal song.

It's the one that sounds like RAP. Can't take that noise any how, any place, any time. Big hole in the console from the last time I heard that! Put that Poon away!

<font size="2" face="verdana, arial, helvetica">Snapset, That tune is the worst piece of crap that ever polluted the airwaves. "Achy Breaky Heart" is a masterpiece by comparison, and that song induces projectile vomiting every time I have the misfortune to hear it.
Consider the source, though- country music.
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is on the top of my list lately. I liked it back in 1975. It disappeared off the charts, but then Wayne's World came out and revived it. Hardly a day goes by anymore when I don't hear it on the radio. It should have stayed dead and buried.
Trivia note: Sting gets over $2000 a day in royalties from Every Breath You Take.
I should have been a songwriter. :depressed: Too bad I have zero creative talent.

For me, it changes with every new jingle that comes out ! It really makes it difficult to get these out of your head when your kids keep singing it all the time !
This one really haunts me....

I think this one and "It's a small world" are both going in my head right now,

Re: song you hate the moast
How bout most anything that Krazzy Joe listens to?
It's awful music, and it has awful lyrics!
I like to sing over the top, in a screaming, grunting voice, and it really irritates him.
My lyrics always are what I suppose the real ones to be like I sing/yell:
"I hate my sisssssssssssssssssssster
I hate my Motherrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ugh ugh ugh! Moan!
Kill, kill, kill, kill hate, hate, screammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!
Suicide.... life is UGLY..... black and doom and dark and sin!"
Oh! He hates it when I make fun of his music like that. I don't suppose the lyrics really say that, but I wouldn't doubt if some of them do!
If I ever hear one that does, it's going to be a very, very, broken and banned CD in our home! He always comes back with good arguments... Like when I tried to turn him onto Van Halen, and he said, "Oh, yes, Mother... 'Runnin' with the devil' is a good thing to teach your children."
He has a point.

Well, everybody has posted numerous songs that are truly deserving of derision and scorn, however, as someone, who, as a teenager blasted punk rock on his stereo to annoy his parents, I have absolutely no place commenting on bad music

I was flipping through the channels, landed on VH-1 for a second, and what did my eyes see?
CELINE DION DOING AC/DC. And she said they were one of her all-time favorite bands.
Ready for the freaky part? It wasn't that bad.
Most hated song? Can't do it........too many songs cause me to break out in a rash to name just one.

Re: song you hate the moast
In no real order:
rap, that whinny feminist c*ap that my ex listens to, most of the above, James Taylor, Dan Folgerburg, all disco, and the "please ice pick my ears" "Having my baby". Not real fond of "Pink" either.

Re: song you hate the moast
my daughter is watching some dumb show and "candyman" is being sung. It reminds me of an old sammy davis joke but it would be censored!
