Default Help bring the Guardsmen home

Pappa John's Pizza has announced a $10 pizza special this weekend. One dollar of every pizza purchased on this special goes to help buy airfare to bring home our Guardsmen for a break before they are shipped over to the desert. The pizza on the special is normally priced $13, I believe.

Are there other companies you know with offers to help raise money to bring them home? Please post them in this thread.

I am in no way affiliated with Pappa John's. I just want to help bring them home for their leave and thought others here may want to help as well.

Thanks for your efforts Kevin. A wonderful cause. My son made it home last night on awfully short notice thanks to his lovely wife's internet airfare searching expertise. Wasn't cheap, but we got him back in Corvallis for a 2 week break before deployment and that's the bottom line! God bless all our troops!

I spend a lot of my leave time, when I was in the service, near the base because I couldn't afford to go home. It was very tough and that was during a time of peace. For most this is a first time to be away from home for an extended period. Add the stress of where they are going and what they are getting in to on top... They need the time home.

I truly hope they all make it home on thier leave and at the end of their tours.
