Anyone going sturgie huntin on the Willy Sat. 12/26?

Just seeing if anyone plans on going for keepers on 12/26 day after Christmas ??? - i'm in my rookie sturgeon season...have been bankin since oct. 1...been out probably 30+ times with nothing tagged. the one day i was able to get out on a boat was a stinkin sunday and of course i got a 49' to the boat just to unhook and send him on his way - i'm willing to buy a OR. day pass for the chance at a keeper and have been seeing lots of reports of them from this weekend - i just want to end the season with one tag so i can focus on steel 'n springers...i got my own gear..beer/gas $$$ whatever it takes (within reason

I am thinking about it. I have to wait on some details on another family commitment. I usually fish around the St. John's area. I won't attempt to guarantee a keeper because I have yet to get one on my tag this year as well. I have only been out a few times though. Send me a pm if you are interested and I will stay in touch.

BTW I have a 17' Alumaweld with a heater if necessary but usually don't bring it.

I have already told Sgt. Slaughter what the plan is if I can fish on Saturday. I have a family issue that I don't know about yet. I will call you and let you know (or pm you) and let you know as soon as I do.
