Default Lyrics by John Dillon

"theres a fire in the stove, keepin out the cold , warming wine -n- winters -n- babies and homes.
like my mamma said you only live till your dead and you have to give and give and give.
whipporwills in the dawn, pretty soon he'll be gone and he's got one good song to sing.
like my daddy said its in your heart and not your head and you got to sing and sing and sing."
Name that tune. Hint 1974.
Just wondering if anyone can get it . Hi ho. id. painter

Very good ! Mr. C.T..
I ran across the C.D. in a record store the other day and bought it. I haddnt listened to those tunes for many many years.
I was 18 and just starting to date my(now) wife when I started to listen to that band.
What a flood of great memories came rushing back as I listened to songs that I had completely forgotten for almost 30 years.
I didnt expect such a strong reaction from my soul toward the music. And I remembered all the dreams that went along with that period of my life.
I realized that All my hopes and dreams had come true . It gave me a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. To realize that my life is exactly what I had set out to have so long ago.
Im comming over to catch a spring Salmon. You have earned a boat ride if you like.
You are going to love being a dad.!!!! id. painter

I was 4. Not many memories for me.

I'd love to take you up on the boat ride...but with a wife due to have a baby on March 20th, I might be wing-clipped till afterward. :depressed: How 'bout a raincheck?
