Default Where can I buy redwood?

Looking for some 1"X10" redwood. Trying to make some planer boards. All I can find in 1x10 is stuff that is just about 9/16 thick. Anybody know where I can get some stuff closer to 1" thick" 4/4 maybe?
Thanks...

Did you try Woodcrafters or Cross Cut Hardwoods?

Wow that is surprising. I got some killer redwood burl veneer from Woodcrafters just a couple weeks ago and figured if they had veneer they would have some selection of dimensional lumber as well.

Question, why does it have to be redwood for the planers?

Probably for rot resistance, Ted. A nice piece of western red cedar might work just as well. If you're really sold on redwood try Disdero. Google them. They're in Clackamas.

Thumbs up Re: Where can I buy redwood?

Thanks for the responses.. Redwood has the most stability and durability for this application. Its a little more money, but the end product is superior. I found a good probable source in Eugene.
