Hey I dont know if this helps but the City of Gresham is taking apps. for Sewer,Storm,Parks,Streets and the best dept. Water. Its for the field operations guys. I think the Apps. close today? They love anybody with a CDL or even a permit.

This is the only way to get in this city and it happens just once a year. I think you can do it on line.

Been there done that as I worked for OSU for 7 years all on one year grants. Never knew from one year to the next if I had a job or not. Not a good feeling with no job security.

Looks like I either have to buy the company and take it over, or find a new job. Both situations scare the bejesus out of me. :shocked: At least I have like a year to do something, but I can see the writing on the wall, few other options that are clear.

I think I need to find me an expert that can value a company to see what all I have to sell to make a down payment. :depressed:

The good news about the situation is that because my job ends for no reason of my own, I get full bumping rights on other OSU jobs. This might possibly work out better if I can get something on campus, since I do live here in Corvallis (currently my job is off campus).

Well, not a good feeling around the ol Fish N Russ household these days. I found out yesterday that I only have about 6 weeks left to work. To make a long story short, I work for OSU and I am funded by a grant........well apparently due to mismanagement, this grant has been way overdrawn and now there is basically no money left. I was supposed to have funding for at least the rest of the year.........so as you can imagine this comes as a big suprise :depressed:
