Thumbs up Hat tip to RIO Products

I just arrived home to find a package on my door step; boy was I happy!

I've own the RIO Coldwater VersiTip 9wt fly line for a couple years now. I use it for salmon and steelhead fishing and really like the flexibility of the different heads. A few months back I noticed the running line and floating line had cracked at the welded loops connecting the two lines. This didn't stop me from landing a few coho this year, but I wanted to get it replaced before the winter steelhead started showing up. I sent the cracked lines in to RIO and within a week I had replacement lines!

Thank you, RIO, for not only creating great products but for standing behind them. I'll be hitting the rivers this Friday... probably not with the floating line, though, as the rain isn't expected to let up much!

All the major line companies stand by there lines and have had the same experience with SA and Airflo as well. I think the modern companies know how to keep their customers and the ones that don't go away.
