Default Wallowa Lake

Have a house with a private dock 3rd week of May to catch some of those 5 and 6 lb Kokanee. The house sleeps 9 and the plans are for 3 boats and 9 guys. We plan on staying 3 or 4 days. By having a dock we wil beat most boats on the water by an hour or more. Last year with one boat in 2 days we had 14 fish over 3 lbs
As of now we have 3 boats with downriggers , and 5guys committed total, so we have room for 4 more guys. We will leave here on the Monday before Memorial Day and return Thursday. The cost for everything, including gas, the house and food, will be around $300 total per person.

With 9 guys we can have daily tournaments for first, most, biggest both individual and 3 man team.$10 etry per day for this. You will need to bring your own drinks and heavy drinking will not be tolerated. t
Texas Holdem is an option in the evening.

If You are interested in this trip, please send a PM. Money will be collected by Apr 1 with no refunds. The 5 guys committed are all ifishers and good fisherman. I might add we are all retired and in our middle to late 60s if that makes a difference to You.
If you have never fished Kokanee, we have tons of gear and extra rods for the downriggers.

We were there in late June last year and kept 14 fish. The 14 fish cleaned and heads off, weighed 37 pounds in the bag. They are nice fish but they are in better shape in May and easier to catch, even though it is heater weather.

I wish I had this in my budget, this year. It will definately be a good time. 5-6 Lb. Kokanee sounds like a lot of fun.

Besides, there is some gorgeous scenery over there. Great time to take a fishing vacation!
