Suttle never really produced, at all, last year. Next year could be different, and hopefully so. Depends on what you want to fish for. Need to narrow down your quarry for best suggestions. If it is kokes; East, Paulina, Wickiup, and LBC should all be producing by then. They all are great destinations and offer unique fishing experiences. Weather is the only iffy thing, LBC would be the best of the four I listed if the weather is going to be rough. I am sure others will offer up some great ideas too.

Concur...Diamond Lake, if open from ice, should be terrific! Troll a green frog finish #5 flatfish and hold on. Later in May the better, but before holiday. Good luck!

Depending on the snow pack & weather, late May can be hot for kokes at Odell plus macks. I would choose Odell over LBC all things being equal. The Odell fish may be bigger and for sure you can keep a lot more (25 vs. 25).

You don't want to fish very bad if you worry about the weather. Fl. or Ca. would have good weather.
