I second the nordic. my wife and i went there on part of our honey moon and have been back at least 5 times every year for the past 10. All of the rooms have been remodeled, it is 2 minutes away from the casino and it is one of the cheapest around. they also have a continental breakfast every morning, and the real important thing is that they have 2 24hr hunting/ fishing channels ch41 and 61. so i highly recommend it and have a great time.

Lynda, if you are planning to go this weekend forget it. I believe all the hotels are booked solid because of the festival in Newport. Good luck, My folks could not find a place to dive for the weekend.

Default Lincoln City lodging??

A couple of my friends are going to Chinook Winds for the Little River Band concert in April. Of course we plan to have some fun at the casino too.

I was hoping someone could recommend a nice place close to Chinook Winds that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. Our main request is we want a kitchen. I can't imagine going to the beach without a kitchen. A couple of the hotels are so darn expensive and no kitchen to boot!

Thanks!
Lynda

Lynda...

Try the Nordic Inn. They're ocean front and were reasonable but under new management now. They were remodeling last time I was there and the room we got was nice. I think they have kitchenette in the King Suite with fireplace. Pool, hot-tub, game room and the building is three levels. Enjoy the show...

My wife always stays at the Liberty Inn. It's just up the hill. Right up the street she said. Easy couple minute walk.

No help with the lodging...but...Oh yeah...The Little River Band is still running around, huh?

I saw them way back in the 70's with Pablo Cruise and Rick Wakeman I think at the Paramount.

Ahhhh.the good 'ol days..

You ifisher's are so great! I have been so busy burning the candle at both ends with work and all.... I haven't been able to check my post!

Needless to say, I am overdue for alittle fun at the coast! The Paramont! OMYGAWD, I remember that place.

We are pumped cause we are actually seated at a table for the concert! Does that mean we have matured?

Nordic wins! I will give them a call and see if I can afford one night or two.

Thanks again!
