Referral for rod builder

Probably 15 years ago after my friends dad died my buddy moved to Idaho and left me a lamiglass blank with cork and handle that his dad had never finished. I'd like to have a nice steelhead rod made out of it. Who should I use?

If possible find someone local. No shipping charges that way. Guys build rods for clients via email & phone consults all the time but it's always better when all else being equal to work face to face.

Do yourself a favor and do a little homework about custom rods. There are many things that an uneducated client can miss or even be mislead by.
