Default Stolen bows

A long shot here. Seems this is common but someone came into our open garage when we were home and stole a couple bows and other things. The bows were of greatest loss. One is a stotler recurve 62" 61#. It had my name on it, joe terleski, and is yew wood with clear fiberglass over it. Had my quiver and arrows on it also. On the belly of the riser is purple heart overlays.
My sons bow a Bear Kodiak magnum 52" 40# bow with quiver and arrows was also taken. It was black.
If anyone happens to see these please give me a call

Check your local pawn shops within 30 miles or so... someone stole a car radio of mine and i fouund it in a pawn shop a few days later... also a tip if you do find it in a pawn shop call the police before you talk with the pawn shop sales guy owener because if u do have a problem and half to call the cops your item will disapear.. trust me on this good luck

I would check out the pawn shop over on silverton rd, and the one out in Keizer. I think those would be the most likely spots for them to turn up. Good part of the whole deal is that most Pawn shops won't make a sale without the person providing some picture ID, that way they have it on record for these kinds of things. Makes it easier for the police to catch the perps.

make a police report for sure! If, a pawn shop takes it in and it is stolen, you can claim it again at no charge.I will keep my eyes and ears open in WA.I know how it feels,I got one stolen 2 wks.before elk season one year.I was crushed.I hope they catch whomever.

Joe,

This same thing happened to me about 12 yrs ago. I was able to get 2 of the guns back along with my bow. May I suggest...

Police Report First
Write Description Down
Call Every Pawn Shop And Ask If You Can Fax Over Descibed Items That Were Stolen****They let me do it and this is the reason I got part of my stuff back.

Good Luck
