Wonder how well they work?

thats funny.. if that really works then im sure it'd be the first step in the "new wave" fishing future, where like everything else...Electronics technology will take over..

I guess if boaters use fish finders then itd only be fair that bankers get the same opportunity.

Just talked to my good friend Derek the Barber about those. He has one and is very happy with it. He uses it mostly out of a drift boat to tell him how deep to run bobber and jig or eggs. I'll take his word on it. This guy is a fish catching machine.

I bought one and I was lucky to get 30' of range with it instead of the advertised 75'. I got my money back and ordered the RF20 (rod mount) with 100' range from Cabela's and it works way better. The rod mount puts the display where you can see it instead of on your wrist under your sleeve. I havn't used it enough to trust that is really showing fish but it works great to see the bottom and set your depth. I can't wait to try it Crappie fishing.

I don't mind dodging a lure or even a Beer can but if they are throwing the sensor out that could leave a mark..............

Sure, I have one of those, too. Nice if you dont have a fish finder and you are a bankie. I think the pole mount would be better!!

Seems like those would come in very handy for finding slots in colored water that you are unfamiliar with.
