Substitute for Iams

I have a two year old Britt, we have only feed Iams products. I have read in ihunt that per my hunting love Iams is not the way to go.
Barley is used for hunting, field trials, hunt test, and showing. Iams gave him the energy plus a great looking coat. What is a good substitute that will give me the same results as Iams.
