Default First Switch Rod...

Thought I'd try and post a few pics of my latest build...
10' 8" - 4pc. Rainshadow 7w Switch...
Fun build and it shoots like a cannon...

Thanks for the comments guys...

The thought process and rounding up all the right parts took me quite a while.
It seems like the toughest part of a build is getting all the pieces to fit with meaning.
I do freehand the scripting, but it's not to say I don't have a solvent rag close by for my mistakes...After watching that crafty gal at the Winston factory pen all the Winston Rods I've done it ever since, makes it more personal.
I do all the cork work with home made all-thread mandrels and turn them on my gramps old Sears and Robuck wood Lathe.
I also try to put a coin from a trip I've taken to the Caribbean or in this case the Buffalo Nickle which came from a trip the misses and I took to Tombstone AZ.
I'll try to ge some more builds posted, kinda just learnin how to post the pics...
