I know friges are really spendy for RV's, but so is everything else! We just got ours out of the shop yesterday. Took is over to have the toilet repaired or replaced. They choose to repair it. They also checked the batteries and charged them. Total bill was $94 for parts, 3.5 hours labor @$88 per hour, and Washington sales tax....$433.60!!!! Then, they refused to take a check! Said either cash, or credit card. Needless to say, we didn't have $433 sitting in our pockets, so I put it on my Visa (hate charging stuff!

). We've had a motorhome of one kind or another for the last 10 years, and it seems we always end up paying through the nose! I certainly don't envy anyone who has to replace a frig. If ours should ever bite the dust, I'm all for throwing a block of ice in it and let it go at that! I'd be interested to know if there are any RV repair places that are "reasonable", too!! Too bad there isn't some place around this area that deals in used RV parts...like the car wrecking yards do.
