Default Business Development Leads Group

Hey,

Thought I'd throw this up and see if anyone is interested.

I am in a leads breakfast that has already been fun, educational, informative, and primarily profitable.

At first I was a bit sceptical, but already the caliber and commitment of the members is rather impressive. This is not a random gathering. There is clearly defined intent and structure with the mission being business development via intra-group referrals.

The sponsoring company is TNI.

We currently have the following categories filled:

General remodeler/contractor - Patrick Neal of Neal & Neal Construction
Estate & business planning attorney - Steve Bennett of Powers, McCulloch & Bennett
Residential realtor - John Hatch of Raleigh Hills Windermere
Residential lender - Joby Easton of First Horizon Home Loans
Auto mechanic - Brian Zimmerman of Mt. Park Chevron
Financial planning - New Member
CPA - Bruce Markusen of Markusen & Schwing

The following categories are open:

Health insurance
Banker - retail
Chiropractor
Landscaper
Personal Trainer
Commercial Realtor
Commercial Lender
Caterer
Massage Therapist
House Keeper
Florist
...other ideas??

This is the Portland based chapter which meets downtown, but I believe we will be relocating to the John's Landing area.

There are other chapters available in Clackamas and Tualatin Valley.

Give me a call if you are interested.

Joby

My wife could probably benefit from something like this... she runs an assisted living facility, but it is in Sandy. Oh well...if she ever changes buildings to something closer in I'll tell her about this.

Joby,
As a sales professional myself, I know the value of a strong network. They filled my pipeline many times. Looks like you have a good one in the making. Looks like mostly personal services related, as opposed to B2B services.

Off the top of my head here are some ideas to add to your list:

Interior decorator
Movers
Massage Therapist

Other/specific construction trades like-
Decking and Fencing
Plumbing
HVAC
Landscaping
Flooring

How about Occupational Safety and Health and Indoor Air Quality Consulting? This is the biz I'm in and I'm responsible for a fair amount of marketing effort for our firm. Let me know if you think this would be a fit. I'd be interested.
