It changes all the time for me.
Right now it's "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem"
"The sun and the sand, a drink in my hand, with no bottom........."
Got the tropics on the brain lately.

Re: Whats your favorite song?
Rolling Stones "Angie" First serious crush I had was with a girl named Angie in 6th grade , she finally said she would be my girlfriend and the next day her family moved away. :depressed: :depressed: Broke my heart and shortly there after I heard that song and it stuck ever since.

Re: Whats your favorite song?
I have more than one but here is a short list.
LA Woman - Doors (this is my very favorite)
Texas Flood - Stevie Ray Vaughan
Southern Cross - CSN
Back Door Man - Howlin' Wolf
All Along the Watchtower - Hendrix
I Put a Spell on You - Screamin' Jay Hawkins
Keep on Rockin' in the Free World - Neil Young
John Barleycorn Must Die - Traffic
Sound of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel
Another song that is very sentimental to me because I sang it to my children when they were little.
House at Pooh Corner - Loggins and Messina
Kind of gets me choked up thinking about it

Wow. Not an easy question. But right now, off the top of my head, at 9:05 pm on 2/19, in no particular order:
Crossroads by Cream
Cassidy by the Dead
That Song About the Midway by Joni Mitchell
Ashes in the Morning by Gram Parsons
Buck's Run by Buck White
Our Last Goodbye by the Stanley Brothers
They only get more obsure from here.

"No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problem" not the version originally recorded by Kenny Chesney, the version my 22-month old sings every night in her Winnie the Pooh slippers for all of us, as an attempt to stall the inevitable "bed time". Re: Whats your favorite song?
Don't really have a favorite song as it all depends on the day. Here are a few I like:
Against the wind - Bob Seger
Are you going with me - Pat Metheny
Groovy kind of love - Phil collins (it is our song, the wife and I)

Re: Whats your favorite song?
At this very moment, I would say Angel From Montgomery by John Prine
Depending on the mood, most anything by Prine as well as Three Steps by Lynard Skynard (turn it up!!!), Old and in the Way by Old and in the Way, Daydream by Lovin' Spoonful, Truckin' by the Dead, Momma Tried by Merle Haggard, Wooden Ships by CSR........... I give, there is too much good music. I love all kinds of music and my favorites vary with my mood and my place in time.

Sue - Johnny Cash
Western Skies - Chris Ledoux
Fishin in the Dark - The dirt Band
Coward of the County - Kenny Rodgers
I suppose everyone has a list a mile
long but here are just a few of mine.
Good music = Classic country oldies with
a nice mix of just about everything else.

Re: Whats your favorite song?
All time favorite song is tough. I have to agree with Straydog, Angel from Montgomery ranks up there as well as many other Prine or Goodman songs. As said it all depends if I am driving,
sitting around or what mood I'm in. I always yearn for some "dirt road back streets" with Jerry Jeff Walkers LA Freeway, or Willie Nelsons Angel Flying to Close to the Ground, or Eagles Last Resort or any of Claptons Blues
But the one song that always seems to stand out and make me sing or whistle along is
Over the Rainbow
Whether it be a version by Judy Garland, Papa John Creach, Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole or any other.
