Hey Kwikfishers
Question for those of you that swim your kwikfish out above your swivel or spreader: what do you use to clip the leader onto the mainline?

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
Large snap swivel and a bead or two between the snap swivel and main swivel/spreader.

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
I use these little pressure clip thing not snap swivles... I have no idea what they are called but you can get them at Fisherman's where the bulk split rings are. I think they are easier to use than a snap swivle and they wont cut your thumbs up when they are water logged!

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
Large size DuoLock snap - nice big radius so it slides easily down to the swivel, (or bobber stop if I want to easily adust the depth I'm fishing at).

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
darian, I use the same thing that 5-cents mentioned. You squeeze them together and they oppose each other and lock when released.

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
The one's that 5-Cents and GBS are referring to are called Mcmahnon Snaps. I like them too. They are quick secure and release and they are strong.
Good luck.
Nate.

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
I believe that what Shane is referring to are called Rosco Snaps. They work real well.

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
They may be spendy compared to a swivle (.08 when you buy them out of the bulk bin) but I only used one all of last year and I just tied it back on the other day for this year...

Re: Hey Kwikfishers
WHats the advantage of this method versus using a slider, for lead dropper, and leader to kwikfish off swivel to main line???
