Default Good Shepherd Comm. Church Sportsmans\' Dinner

Anyone going to this year's event? Anyone ever been?

I'ts on Feb 27 at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring. I've been for the last 4 or 5 years....great food and great time!!

Edit: A TCAB team mate suggested that I expand on this subject a little. So, here goes: A bunch of outdoorsmen donate wild game and fish for this event. Volunteers cook it up along with some other tasty treats and serve it to a couple hundred guys. They have exhibits - fishing/hunting related. They give out door prizes. Although it's at a church, it's a very low-pressure thing. Usually just one speaker. Good times. I met the owner of Metro Pheasants there last year - great guy!

Fri, Feb 27. Doors and exhibits open at 5:30. Dinner served at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00. Contact Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring, OR at 503.663.5050. I think you must buy tickets in advance, as they sell out rather quickly. There MAY be some left, but I don't know. Here's a link Sportsman's Harvest Dinner

I'm not involved in the even in any way - just passin along the info.

ORS

ORS,

Never been. Got any more info? I might be interested. It's not my usual Church, though.

I've went several times. Well worth the effort. Great event, food, and Gospel message! I'm going to be there with my Sportfishin' Simulator so stop by and say hello!
