Anyone going to this year's event? Anyone ever been?
I'ts on Feb 27 at Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring. I've been for the last 4 or 5 years....great food and great time!!
Edit: A TCAB team mate suggested that I expand on this subject a little. So, here goes: A bunch of outdoorsmen donate wild game and fish for this event. Volunteers cook it up along with some other tasty treats and serve it to a couple hundred guys. They have exhibits - fishing/hunting related. They give out door prizes. Although it's at a church, it's a very low-pressure thing. Usually just one speaker. Good times. I met the owner of Metro Pheasants there last year - great guy!
Fri, Feb 27. Doors and exhibits open at 5:30. Dinner served at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $8.00. Contact Good Shepherd Community Church in Boring, OR at 503.663.5050. I think you must buy tickets in advance, as they sell out rather quickly. There MAY be some left, but I don't know. Here's a link
