Especially when dealers and distributors are being charged about $8.25 per bag. $10 per bag retail is a good deal.

Re: Traeger pellets
The bags I bought in St. Paul are only 20 pounders, nota real good deal since 40 pound bags run $13 to $16 almost anywhere.

I've used the Bear Mountain pellets and in my opinion they do not work (smoke) as well as the Traeger pellets. They heat/burn just as well but I think I get better smoke out of the traeger pellets.
Canby Builders Supply sells Traeger pellets for $9.95/20 lb. bag.

Re: Traeger pellets
I've used about 10 bags of the Bear Mountain hickory and am pleased with how they smoke/heat as well.

Re: Traeger pellets
boone, can you PM me the location for where you got the bear mtn pellets?
That ranch store by the mall in Kennewick had Traeger pellets on sale for 11.99 last weekend, and still might be on sale as the clerk didn't know when it ended.

Re: Traeger pellets
Great little hardware store in Mt. Angel - Boesher's on the corner. Small but they have Traeger pellets all year at $10. any flavor - plus any thing else at really good price. Got a GE stove there and they beat everyones price in Portland - very friendly home town people - try them out.
