Default Sellwood on Wednesday

I'm surprised not to find any posts about the Sellwood reguarding the good catching on Wednesday. It was a nine fish day on Wednesday. Today there are 21 boats above the bridge. It will only get better.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. It's still early. Second or third week in March is the time to be there. I personally enjoy fishing with other boats in the area. I would have to say that 12 fish for 9 boats on Wed. was an excellent catching ratio. Thursday may have been slow but each day is different. Hence, the YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN HERE YESTERDAY saying. I'll be there tomorrow. Maybe we can swap paint. Look for the green and silver Sea Dory making barbacue smoke signals to the fish gods.

This is a little dated, but I heard on good authority that the kayak guy got a 20 pounder on Tuesday after work.

21 boats today, 94 boats tomorrow and 384 on Saturday. Springer fishing is heating up!
