Re: Thanksgiving hawg bass(pics)
I don't know about you guys, but I do like to see pictures of bass, even poor quality ones like this. That being said, I am really not that interesed in seeing a lot of pics of fish caught in California. It's not in my realm of possibilities so it really doesn't interest me. I want to see pics of our bass around here. I could go on the net and see pictures of Arkansas, Louisiania, Texas, Mississipppi, and on and on, bass.
But what's the fun in that? Sorry, didn't mean to insult anyone. Just saying.

Well for one, i fish all over the country every year and use the same methods as i do here. Maybe you should try what i use and see how your day ends. Use light light and MM3 roboworms and quarter ounce bullet weight texas rigged on spinning tackle with any scent you have just as long as you have scent. And i will put my life on it youll catch some quality bass. I fish the most pressured lakes in the country and these are how my days go

Re: Thanksgiving hawg bass(pics)
It isn't hurting anything to show pictures of bass no matter where they come from. Well, it does hurt, but it's a good hurt...kind of. Ok it hurts. Post anyway!

Good advice. I'll give it a try. Guess I was having a not so good day when I posted. By all means, please do keep posting. This board's been pretty dead for a while anyway. Good luck, Bill

Keep posting for sure. Is your camera a digital? I always fish by myself and my pics turn out pretty decent by setting the timer.
That said.....I can't agree with 4lb test. Maybe in wide open water with zero structure around....but 4lb test is a death wish, and will result in a horror story instead of a trophy in the boat/bank.

well their arent any trees in any of the lakes i fish so i dont have to worry about that. But if you learn how to use your drag and to fight a fish correctly 4lb is very strong. Only a couple break offs in a couple monthes isnt to bad and one was a solid trout

it would prob be a cheap vacation to come down here and fish. 39 bucks a night for a hotel and three hundred or if that for a week of fishing.

Oh it's on!!! Time to find me an ever-elusive Columbia 10lb Smallie!
Logged 200+ hours on the water last year without a single Largemouth. I need to get up to Silver this year at least once!
