Default Help out your "Vendors" at the show!!!

This is only my second show and it is tough on all your favorite folks out there whether it is Jennie, guides, retail stores, etc.

Very long hours and the breaks are very few and far between!

Then there are those of us that have left friends, family and animals behind to do those shows!

The pace can be and is normally hectic!!!

Most of us live on an absent of sleep, food we wished we hadn't eaten and so forth!

Bring some good, wholesome food to the show for those that you know are going through this "stressfull" but necessary experience.

The folks like Jennie and myself just don't have the opportunity to run to Subway or Papa Murphey's or elsewhere.

Help them out in anyway you can because this isn't Bob's, or Fisherman's, etc., but Bob's and Fisherman's camped out on the road!

Most of these folks have been eating stuff you don't want too because they don't have much choice and are working along ways from home.

Appreciate what these folks are doing for you!

It's a real "tough" time fore some of these folks!

This is rewarding to many, but a big inconvience, expendicture and loss of livilyhood also.

Thanks for the consideration.

Dano

Tough on vendors! Give me a break BTBW! I did those shows for 6 years and they are a blast! I loved every minute of them and came prepared with water and food.

You get to meet more people and do more socializing there than anywhere I've ever been.

I envy those "poor" vendors. If I could see some way to make it pay a little better I would be in every one of them.

Enjoy it, no sympathy here.

Dano, I'm beat today just by the few hours I spent in Brads exhibit. Maybe it was the hustling around to see everything before and after spending time there and still make it home before it got too late. But, Hey, I had a blast. I've never talked to so many people who have so many opinions about colors and different methods and areas of fishing plugs and wobblers. We coulda cleaned house by selling em on the side(don't tell Brad).

No, I had a great time and would love to do it again if the opportunity presents itself.

Well Capt. Hook, I spent a little time chatting with several other vendors there and they all hated doing the shows and the word commonly used was brutal.

Maybe you were in a booth that didn't attract as much traffic as some of the others to where you couldn't hardly talk at the end of the day?
I did see some slow booths like that and some that were vacated time to time.

Couldn't do that with the booth I was working or there would have been a lot of missing plugs and a lot of the public would have been shorted answers and information not to mention the folks that bought 4 plugs at Bob's and we had to give them a free one.

Thank you very much Earl for helping out!
You are invited to help out anytime you please when I am scheduled.
Bob Spar helped out yesterday as well and it made for a much more pleasant day.
Both you guys are a "natural" at it and have the fishing experience to answer most questions that come up about the product line.

Thanks again and would have loved to go nail a steelie with you today but rest & catching up after the big show is a bigger priority.

Dan

BTBW, Nah, there was never a lack of people at our booth. In fact it was usuually the other way around. I just enjoyed the experience more than others I guess. We did some of the best shows when they had the Convention Center Sportshow and I believe the surrounding were better there although they did not get the volume.

For two years I di the show by myself and usually did half of our bookings at the one show. So it was not for lack of business.

When we sold the business I gave up the shows. Like I said, I would still be there willingly and looking forward to every day of it.
