2000 Tahoe Z71, Good rig, $6200.00
2000 Tahoe LT Z71, $6200. 141500 miles Great rig. I just bought a 2008 Tahoe Z71
I bought this from Wentworth in 2001, it had 6K miles on it. Regular service and oil changes every 2500 - 3000 miles. At 85000 loaned the car to my Daughter and she was on the way back from Pendleton when the engine overheated and started knocking and ended up being replaced. Chevrolet has a known defect with the head gasket between cylinder 7 & 8 where water will leak and cause engine to overheat. Do an internet search and you will see it is a known defect. My mechanic recommended a company in Seattle for a new motor so I put a new long block and radiator in. Still regular oil changes 2500 -3000 and tranny service about every 50K or so. Fuel pump has been replaced with new factory fuel pump assembly. Nov 2008, new front slotted rotors and pads, my second set as I love the way the slotted rotors work. Probably 30% better stopping power. Also replaced, idler arm and tie rod ends and an alignment at the same time. Les Schwab did the work. I have service and oil change receipts for everything.
Have the Z71 grill guard if you want it. Never been wrecked or even a ding. I am anal about where I park. Paint looks real good. Drivers side heated leather seat does not heat. I hardly used it and 2 yrs ago when it went out I just did not bother fixing it. Have husky liners for the front and the cargo areas well as the factory mats that have never been used. No hard off road use, no extreme 4X4 stuff. Has 2WD setting, Auto 4WD, Full time 4WD as well as low range 4WD settings. The rear open side to side so much easier to get stuff in and out and can release to open a full 180 degrees for the really wide things, another nice feature. Qty 3 12volt power ports on the dash and 1 in the cargo area. Full size spare tire. Factory fog lights and I bent a clip out of the way so I could install more powerful light bulbs that the stock factory ones. Also have some aftermarket fog lights installed on the hitch frame and wired into the back up lights for more light when backing up in the dark. Factory running boards.
I also have a set, qty 4 factory alloy wheels with Blizzak type non studded ice/snow tires on them, about 75% rubber that can be included for $300 more. Otherwise I think I can sell them for $400.
Call Steve, W/ 503.972.2710 or C/ 503.939.9437 for more info.

Bump for a great rig.
And remeber, regular service, new front brakes with slotted rotors and about $200 in ball joints and tie rod ends. Good rubber on both sets of tires. Just back from mechanic, all tuned up. Receipts for everything and Husky liners.
