Update on Mike. Thank you for your prayers.
It has been a good Thanksgiving Day. I just received word that Mike has been accepted into the experimental program and his treatment has started.Only those who are terminal are accepted. The treatment is very new and as yet untested, but it gives him a chance and at least hope for remission. Thank all of you who have prayed for us so very much. I can never tell you how much it has meant.

As some of you know from previous posts, my Son Mike is suffering from head and neck cancer that has spread to his sternum. . I had an email from Mike last night. He has applied to be a candidate for a new experimental drug regime for people that were not cured or put into remission with Chemo and Radiation treatment.
The drug name is Zalutumumab and is made by Genmab. It is a phase 2 study. That means it will not cure the cancer, but keep it from spreading and is only used when there is no other hope. The company will only select 100 candidates nation wide. Please join me in praying that Michael will be one of them and that the treatment will work.
Thank you all so much for your previous prayers. They have comforted both he and I.

 my family prayers go out to you,
i have freinds and lots of family that has battled cancer.
i hope that the treatment helps, and that in itself could help millions of others
