Default Newbee sturgeon story

The moniker isn't exactly earned yet, but I had to come up with something... Here's the story. I purchased a new Jetcraft at the boat show this winter (I know, I know, take it easy on me eh?), and was itchin' to get it fishy. I have never fished for sturgeon before so thought I'd give it a shot. I decided to go on a non-keeper day hoping there would be fewer boats out and I could learn how to anchor, maybe a little etiquette, etc. On Sunday before last, Kiwanda Kid and I went out on the Willie below Multnomah channel, picked a spot at random, and threw the anchor over. Less than ten minutes went by and we were into the shakers. Picked up 35 or 40 that day. The fast action reminded my of when I was a kid fishing for channel cats on the Palouse River. Haven't had that much fun in a long time. Went out again last Saturday, this time without a partner. Only got 8 fish, but two qualified as keepers. I didn't tag either one since I'm going to hold out for estuary fish, but you can expect to see me out practicin' more on the Willie. Good luck to all you real sturgeonators on Saturday!

All right! The boss is out of the closet(lurking closet)way to go ya door geek. You can bet this guy will be out there on as regular a basis the wife will allow. His boat is still shiney and all he wants to do is get the new off. Ya gotta respect that. I'll give you all a warning for the future..... if you smell steak and shrimp wafting under your noses and you here laughter and general carrying on from the blue jet craft upwind dont worry its just a couple of door geeks working at the job site I'm not sure if that's what he decided on the boats name (The Job Site) but I think it rocks, what say ye all? Welcome aboard Boss now lets keep those stories comin'!
