Talking cream of wild mushroom soup ?? anyone

well its mushroom season and im looking for a cream of mushroom soup recipe got a nice varity to work with got some chantrelles hedgehog bolitis black trumpits yellowfoot chantrelle occationally matsutaki

need a good base mabey ? that will make a good soup for a few or all the combined above mushrooms as i currently have everything listed above

my current thought is to try a 1/2 gallon of heavy cream and throw in a bit of everything and some onion but not sure that would be a good out come and the matsutaki is a expensive mushroom to experiment with $22 a lb the other day

hedghogs are pretty dang good eating, can u get any boletes?? i would thin black trumpet-chantrells would b too expensive, chantrells would make a good cream sauce to top things with but not sure for a main course, go with the hedghogs

or experiment with some cheap chantrells or the regular white mushrooms in the store

If you google "barefoot contessa wild mushroom soup" you'll get Ina Garten's recipe. I haven't made it myself, but she seldom disappoints.
